When we rent an Airbnb, we love the idea of having a home away from home. Unfortunately, there is a wide range of people who do not agree with this assessment.
For example, you are about to be stunned when you see how far these proprietors went. They were not willing to let this woman make any of her own decisions at all. Tiffany is the woman who shared the video and it is getting lots of attention.
“My most recent Airbnb host had a few controlling quirks,” she begins. As you will soon find out, this was the understatement of the century. They wanted this woman to follow so many rules, you would have thought that she was their child who happened to be house-sitting for the weekend.
“Before you even walk in, you get hit with a huge information guide on what to do and you have to take it off the door and hang it on the inside. Next is the amount of information given every moment after that, in every way possible, in every part of the room. My favorite of all the information pieces? She draws a picture of the remote control and teaches you how to use each button. There is even a note on how to use the vent and how to use the storage bins,” she says.
If that sounds like a lot, that is because it is. We have never heard of something so ridiculous in all of our days. She should have just stayed at a hotel instead of dealing with all of that.
She could not even handle the arduous task of picking out the right cup to drink her water, according to the host. “One of my top favorites was […] using the wrong cup to drink my water,” she says.
Even something as simple as taking a shower came with its own set of rules. “Another good one – you want to move the shower curtain left to right? No, it has to be right to left,” she shared.
Our heart goes out to Tiffany, as no one deserves this. “Hope I slept here correctly,” she jokes at the end of the video. Hopefully, she does not get a talking to from the host for sleeping on the wrong side of the bed!
