8 Easter Dishes We Can’t Get Enough Of

Not sure what to make this year? Check out this list for inspiration!

Easter will be here before we know it! As per most holidays, Easter is a time to be with family and eat lots of food, amongst other things. While we have a lot of food associated with Thanksgiving and Christmas, Easter can be a little trickier to pin down. Everyone has their own specialty dishes and desserts, but if you’re scrambling for what to make for Easter dinner, then this is the list for you! You’ll find sides, main courses, and desserts on this list. Everything you need for an amazing feast!

Apple Slice-Stuffed Honey Mustard Ham

Are you ready for a dish that’s going to knock your socks off?? This is a meal that we first made for a big family gathering, and once we did, we realized we’d found one of our very favorite recipes to make for times of celebration. Get the recipe here!

Braided Easter Sweet Bread

If you haven’t tried it, sweet bread is a deliciously light treat that is perfect for springtime and has just the right touch of sweetness. Braided sweet bread is an Easter staple in many cultures, so it only seemed right that we share this yummy recipe with you but you can make it whenever you want! Get the recipe here!

Honey Butter Roasted Carrots

A carrot is a wonderful thing just as it is without any alteration, but roasting them sure has a way of teasing out their sweet side and making them extra delicious. We are big on roasted carrots in my household – we always seem to have the cheery orange root veg on hand anyway, they go with pretty much any meal, and we just can’t get enough of their caramelized sweetness. And these Honey Butter Roasted Carrots, with their sweet and buttery thyme-kissed coating, are one of our very favorite ways to prepare them. Get the recipe here!

Easy Deviled Egg Cubes

Deviled eggs are one of those foods that’s pretty highly debated – you either love, loveee them, or you vehemently despise them and want nothing to do with them. We happen to love deviled eggs, especially since they make such good party food, and decided we wanted to put a little spin on things to spruce them up and make it a little easier to make a big batch all at once. See the recipe here!

Southern-Style Classic Carrot Cake

Old fashioned carrot cake inside

Apart from carrots, obviously, what goes into a southern-style carrot cake you ask? Well, we’re skipping the pineapple and coconut and sticking with raisins on the inside and walnuts on the outside. A balance of both worlds, if you will. What you can also count on to be delicious absolutely every time is the unparalleled frosting we use here. Yes, it’s a cream cheese frosting, but we add a secret ingredient into the mix that really takes things to the next level. Find out what it is here!

Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb

We wanted to share a recipe that not only celebrated the flavor of the lamb, but enhanced it, and did justice to the cut itself. An herb crust only felt natural. With a choice of meat this delicious, we only used fresh herbs pulsed in a food processor with some bread crumbs. For our herbs, we used a combination of parsley, rosemary, and of course mint. Italian Easter Pie

If you’re a fan of quiches or stratas or egg bakes, then you’re going to go nuts for this savory pie we whipped up. This Easter pie is an Italian classic, typically served for Easter, as the name would suggest, and is a hearty, cheesy, meaty, dense dish that is sure to please everyone at your table. Jell-O Easter Eggs

Jell-O is one of the more versatile treats that we have at our disposal, so it’s not surprising that it would make the jump over to Easter eggs. Making these colorful and edible eggs is a lot easier than you might think. All you need is some Jell-O (any flavor will do), some whipped cream and a deviled egg holder. Find out more here!
