Everyone loves pizza night, right? I mean, what’s not to love? Unfortunately, ordering pizza for dinner every night isn’t in the budget, and certainly isn’t good for the waistline. That’s where this list comes in handy! Here are six of my favorite pizza-inspired recipes. You’ll find some that are comfort foods, and some that are healthy versions of your favorite pizzas. Go ahead and check these recipes out and try some out on your family this week!

Pepperoni Pizza Ring

We’ve got a recipe that is great as an after school snack or a simple dinner for pretty much any day of the week. It’s a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen, too, so they’re not snarking at mom or dad to hurry up and make dinner! Our pepperoni pizza ring is definitely a favorite in our house and something that can feed a hungry crowd in under 30 minutes. Just a few items from the grocery store are all we need to whip up a pizza ring. Get the recipe here!

Chicken Parm Pizza

The “crust” here is made up of chicken, but it’s breaded and pan-fried so that it gets nice and crispy before it’s topped with marinara, mozzarella, and parmesan. We top the whole thing off with some pepperoni, because, well it is pizza after all, and then it goes under the broiler until the cheese is irresistibly bubbly and melty. Get the recipe here!

Tater Tot Pizza

Pizza and potatoes hold a secure place in the Comfort Food category in our house, so when we found a way to merge these two together in a kind of “fast food fusion” recipe, everyone cheered “Horray!” Want to know why? Because we made a tater tot crust topped with our favorite pizza toppings and turned it into something amazing. This is the exact opposite of healthy a cauliflower crust! Since we don’t eat like this all of the time, we can easily justify the occasional outrageous indulgence when it comes to our favorite fast foods. A Tater Tot Pizza is a ridiculously fun way to bring two classic favorites together in one cast iron skillet. Get the recipe here!

Cheesy Supreme Pizza Soup

What are your thoughts on a classic supreme pizza (or “pizza supreme” for some you out there)? Typically laden with mushrooms, olives and pepperoni – along with basically anything else you could want to throw on there – we’re hooked on this pizza and have been for quite some time now. It’s a weekly staple in our house on Friday nights, A.K.A. pizza night, and there’s just something about the combination of flavors and ingredients that we love…so much so, in fact, that we took our love of supreme pizza and turned it into a soup! Barbecue Chicken Pizza Bake

Sometimes you get a pizza craving, but you want something that’s a little bit healthier… That’s where dishes like this Barbecue Chicken Pizza Bake come in. There’s no crust involved, but it still has that absurdly delicious flavor combo of barbecue sauce, red onion, and chicken that Barbecue Chicken Pizza does. There’s some cheese going on, but depending on what kind of barbecue sauce you use, it can totally be a much healthier lower carb alternative to fulfill that craving. Get the recipe here!

Weeknight Pizza Casserole

Life comes with a lot of hard decisions, like whether you should choose pizza or pasta for dinner. But with our Weeknight Pizza Casserole, you don’t have to decide at all – you get to have them both! With spicy pepperoni, chewy pasta, a savory meat-studded sauce, and plenty of cheese, it’s a different way to do pizza night, but it’s every bit as crave-worthy. Get the recipe here!
