It’s crazy, but we end up at the grocery store at least once a day. Every. Day. Now, that’s just too much time at the store, but without fail there’s always that one essential ingredient we forgot, or that slew of things that we didn’t write down on the list, figuring we’d remember them when we saw them…not anymore.
Going to the store that frequently gets old really fast, so we decided to put in some extra time on Sunday to plan out a week’s worth of dinners so we could do all our shopping once (with one shopping list that has all the ingredients on it for the whole week) and then be done with it. We’re happy to report that it worked out nicely and seriously helped us not be so frantic during the week!
Below, we’ve got our five favorite dinners which we had to include for you guys, and you can even download and print a PDF version of our shopping list! No more forgetting the crux of the meal in the refrigerator aisle – we’ve got you covered!!
Mexican food is our favorite, so we like to start the week off strong with our favorite enchilada casserole!
Stuffed with meat and potatoes (and veggies!), this British classic, cottage pie, is in heavy rotation in our household
We had no idea we could make this in the slow cooker until recently, but this teriyaki chicken blows us away every time!
We haven’t met a single person who isn’t head-over-heels in love with macaroni and cheese, so this three-cheese, slow cooker version is a no-brainer…
Rounding off the week with fewer calories, yet even more flavor, we’ve got this creamy chicken broccoli casserole – how about that for a stress-free week?!
