After discovering small, blue and clear, soft pieces of plastic in Tyson Foods Inc. chicken nuggets, a recall has been issued for 3,120 pounds of frozen breaded chicken product. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has deemed this a Class II recall with a low health risk.

Products under scrutiny and subject to recall are three pound plastic bags within a 12-pound box labeled “Uncooked, Breaded, Original Chicken Tenderloins.” Said product, packages with lot code 1378NLR02 and establishment number “P-746,” was produced May 17, 2018 and shipped to “food services establishments” nationwide. As such, affected product was not available for purchase in grocery stores, though food service establishments are strongly encouraged to dispose of contaminated product.
