We’ve all done it… taken a peek through the glass but then popped the oven door oven to see how those cupcakes are coming along. Resist the urge and keep that door closed! Opening the oven door during baking makes the temperature drop considerably. Every time you do it, it creates fluctuations in temperature that can make cakes fall or drastically change baking times.
