When it comes to desserts, it’s easy to get wrapped up in big baking projects that take up the whole afternoon. What with making homemade pie crust, to spending hours decorating cookies, it can be a great family activity, but it can also just be a lot of work! Don’t get us wrong, we love devoting time to cooking projects like that every once in a while, but we also rely on other dessert recipes that come together in a pinch and that pack a flavorful punch – like these simple (but delicious) candied nuts!

Candied nuts are a treat that go, for the most part, unappreciated. We typically only see them scattered in a light salad (which is a great use for them), but why aren’t they more popular just as a finger food for people to munch on before or after a meal? They couldn’t be easier to make and the final product is a crunchy, sweet, addictive treat that’ll have you hooked. You don’t need to have a baking extravaganza for a dessert that everyone will love; this recipe does just the trick!
